Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase, access, and use of services offered by Parkway Driving School (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Parkway”) including Beginner Driver Education (BDE) courses, in-car lessons, and related services. By enrolling or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• “Student” / “You” / “Your”-The person enrolling in services.
• “Course”-Any BDE course (online and in-car).
• “Lesson”-Individual in-car driving instruction session.
• “Package”-A collection of lesson hours sold together.
• “Online Portion”-The digital theory component of a BDE course.
• “Access”-Permission granted to enter the online portion or scheduling for lessons.

2. Eligibility and Enrollment

• Must be at least 16 years old to enroll.
• Must hold a valid Ontario G1 learner’s license prior to starting in-car lessons.
• Provide accurate personal info and maintain up-to-date contact details.

3. Course Structure and Requirements

• BDE course: 20 hours online + 10 hours in-car (MTO standard).
• Complete all components within 12 months; otherwise re-enrollment required.

4. Access and Scheduling

• Access to online portion after enrollment & payment.
• In-car lessons scheduled directly with instructor.
• Times subject to instructor availability.
• Reschedules accommodated for emergencies/weather.

5. Payments

• All fees in CAD; taxes apply.
• Payment must be made in full before access.
• Processed securely via Stripe or other methods.
• Non-payment may cancel enrollment.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Full refund if cancellation ≥24 hours before first lesson or online access.
• 60% refund if after online access but before any in-car lessons.
• No refund once in-car lessons start.
• All services expire after 12 months if unused.
• Refunds processed within 10 business days, excluding processor fees.

7. Cancellations and No‑Shows

• 24 hours’ notice required to cancel/reschedule.
• Late cancellations/no-shows may lose lesson or incur charges.
• Failure to bring required documents may be treated as no-show.

8. Student Conduct & Safety

• Respect instructors & staff at all times.
• Unsafe, aggressive, or abusive behavior may terminate enrollment.
• No alcohol or drugs before/during lessons.
• Follow traffic & instructor guidance.

9. Liability and Release

• Driving instruction involves inherent risks.
• Follow instructor guidance & laws.
• Parkway and affiliates not liable except as required by law.
• Students may be responsible for fines resulting from traffic violations during lessons.

10. Certification

• BDE completion does not guarantee passing a road test.
• Certification processed via MTO upon successful completion.

11. Privacy & Communication

• Personal info collected for enrollment, communication, and certification.
• Not shared without consent except as required by law.
• Consent to receive emails, calls, or texts.

12. Changes to Terms

• Parkway may update these Terms anytime.
• Latest Terms posted on website.
• Continued use = acceptance of updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
