Important: These terms are written to make expectations clear. They are not independent legal advice and they do not remove any rights you may have under applicable Ontario or Canadian law. Parkway may update these terms as services, pricing, laws, technology, or operations change.
BookingA booking is confirmed only after payment, required details, availability, and Parkway confirmation.
SafetyInstructor safety judgment comes before test dates, payment, convenience, or preference.
ResultsParkway provides training and support, but road test results are never guaranteed.
1. Services Covered
These terms apply to all Parkway Driving School services, including:
- Beginner Driver Education (BDE) courses.
- Private in-car driving lessons.

- Road test vehicle support and car-only road test support.
- Online forms, website bookings, payment links, phone/text/email/WhatsApp inquiries, and student communication.
- Any other service, package, or student support offered by Parkway Driving School.
Package details, prices, inclusions, availability, instructor assignment, pickup options, and service areas may vary by page, package, location, student readiness, schedule, weather, vehicle availability, and Parkway confirmation.
2. Student Eligibility and Responsibilities
- Students must provide accurate name, phone number, email, licence status, pickup information, package selection, road test details, and scheduling details.
- Students must hold the correct valid licence required for the lesson, road test, or training service.
- Students must bring any required licence, test confirmation, glasses or contact lenses if required, and any documents needed for the service or road test.
- Students must be ready at the agreed pickup location, meeting point, or DriveTest location at the confirmed time.
- Students under 18 may require parent or guardian involvement for booking, payment, communication, BDE enrollment, and consent.
- Students must tell Parkway about relevant licence restrictions, medical or vision requirements, test details, safety concerns, comfort level, or anything that may affect safe instruction.
- Students are responsible for following traffic laws, instructor directions, DriveTest requirements, and safe driving behaviour.
3. Payments, Taxes, and Booking Confirmation
- All prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Listed prices are plus applicable HST/GST or tax unless clearly stated otherwise.
- Payment may be collected through Stripe, e-transfer, cash, debit/credit, or another Parkway-approved payment method.
- A form submission, inquiry, or payment does not automatically guarantee a specific lesson date, instructor, pickup location, road test time, or vehicle availability.
- A booking is confirmed only when payment, required information, student eligibility, scheduling, and Parkway confirmation are complete.
- Parkway may contact the student or parent/guardian after payment to confirm details, package fit, eligibility, readiness, and scheduling.
- If payment is declined, reversed, disputed, charged back, incomplete, or suspected of fraud, Parkway may pause, cancel, or refuse service until the issue is resolved.
- Payment processor fees, bank fees, card network fees, or third-party fees may be non-refundable where applicable.
- Parkway may correct obvious pricing, package, or technical errors before confirming a booking.
4. Website Forms, Payment Links, and Booking Flow
Parkway may use website forms, Netlify forms, Stripe payment links, email, phone, text, or WhatsApp to collect booking details and payments.
- For some packages, a website form may collect student details before redirecting to a payment link.
- Submitting a form helps Parkway capture the booking request, but payment and Parkway confirmation are still required before the service is fully confirmed.
- BDE post-payment enrollment forms are used to collect student details after payment and do not collect payment card information.
- Students must not submit credit card numbers, banking information, SIN, health card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information through forms, email, text, or WhatsApp.
- If a form submission fails, duplicates, or contains incorrect information, the student should contact Parkway directly.
- Parkway is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect email addresses, incorrect phone numbers, incomplete forms, payment processor delays, spam filters, or third-party technical issues.
5. Refunds, Credits, and Unused Lessons
Refunds depend on the service type, payment method, timing, access issued, administrative work completed, scheduling work started, and lesson time already used.
- Refund requests must be made in writing by text or email.
- If no lesson has been scheduled, no BDE access has been issued, no road test vehicle slot has been reserved, and no administrative work has started, Parkway may approve a refund subject to processing fees or third-party charges.
- Once BDE access is issued, BDE registration has started, student setup is completed, road test vehicle coordination has begun, or administrative work has been completed, partial or no refund may apply.
- Completed lesson time is non-refundable.
- Unused lesson hours may be credited, rescheduled, or transferred only at Parkway’s discretion and subject to availability, expiry, student eligibility, and package terms.
- No refund is guaranteed for missed lessons, late cancellations, no-shows, unsafe conduct, refusal to follow instructions, failure to bring required documents, DriveTest cancellation, road test failure, or a student being unprepared.
- Road test fees paid directly to DriveTest or government agencies are not controlled by Parkway and are not refundable by Parkway.
- Approved refunds may take several business days depending on payment method, bank timing, and payment processor timelines.
- Nothing in this refund section limits any mandatory refund or cancellation rights that may apply under Ontario or Canadian law.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, Late Arrival, and No-Shows
- Students should give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson unless Parkway approves an exception.
- Late cancellations may result in the lesson being counted as used.
- No-shows may result in loss of the lesson, road test support, vehicle booking, or booking fee.
- If a student is late, the lesson may still end at the original scheduled time.
- If Parkway is late due to traffic, weather, road conditions, emergency, or operational issue, Parkway will make reasonable efforts to adjust or reschedule fairly.
- Instructor availability, weather, vehicle condition, illness, emergencies, road closures, unsafe conditions, or operational issues may require Parkway to reschedule.
- Parkway is not responsible for DriveTest cancellations, examiner decisions, government test changes, weather cancellations, road closures, or third-party booking issues.
7. Safety, Conduct, and Instructor Authority
Safety comes before convenience, payment, test dates, student preference, or schedule pressure.
- Students must follow instructor directions during lessons, training, warm-ups, and test preparation.
- Parkway may refuse, pause, end, or reschedule a lesson if the instructor believes the situation is unsafe.
- No alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, impairment, or unsafe medication use is allowed before or during lessons or road test support.
- Students must not attend a lesson if they are too tired, unwell, impaired, emotionally unsafe, or legally unable to drive.
- Abusive, threatening, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, dishonest, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination of service without refund.
- Students may be responsible for fines, penalties, traffic violations, damage, cleaning costs, or losses caused by their actions, negligence, unsafe conduct, or illegal driving behaviour.
- Instructors may decide that a student is not ready to use the instructor vehicle for a road test if safety is a concern.
8. Road Test Preparation and Vehicle Support
- Road test packages may include training hours, warm-up time, and/or instructor vehicle support depending on the selected package.
- Car-only road test support is intended for prepared drivers who only need a suitable vehicle.
- Car-only support is not a substitute for training if the student is nervous, inconsistent, unsafe, or not test-ready.
- Vehicle support does not guarantee that the student will pass the road test.
- Parkway may require test date, test time, DriveTest location, licence status, payment status, and readiness information before confirming vehicle support.
- Students are responsible for booking the correct road test with DriveTest unless Parkway clearly agrees otherwise in writing.
- Students are responsible for arriving with valid licence documents and meeting DriveTest requirements.
- DriveTest fees, rescheduling rules, test cancellations, examiner decisions, road test outcomes, and licensing decisions are outside Parkway’s control.
- If a student is not test-ready, unsafe, missing documents, late, impaired, legally unable to test, or fails to meet DriveTest requirements, Parkway may refuse vehicle use.
- Pickup, drop-off, route, warm-up time, and vehicle use are subject to the specific package purchased and Parkway scheduling confirmation.
9. Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Terms
- BDE services may include online/digital theory, in-car instruction, flexible/HomeLink practice, student records, administration, and completion processing.
- Students must complete all required BDE components before certification can be processed.
- BDE certification is submitted only after Parkway confirms successful completion of required course components and administrative requirements.
- MTO processing timelines, government records, DriveTest eligibility, and insurance recognition are outside Parkway’s direct control.
- Completing an MTO-approved BDE course may reduce the G1 wait period where applicable, but students are responsible for confirming their own licensing eligibility.
- Insurance discounts are not guaranteed by Parkway. Students must confirm eligibility directly with their insurance provider.
- BDE access, course platforms, completion deadlines, and course requirements may be subject to provider, MTO, or program rules.
- If a student delays too long, fails to complete required steps, provides incorrect information, or misses required training, additional fees, delays, or re-enrollment may apply.
- BDE Plus includes G2 road test vehicle support subject to scheduling, eligibility, safety, and Parkway confirmation.
10. Results, Reviews, and No Guarantee
- Parkway provides instruction, coaching, practice, feedback, and road test preparation.
- Parkway does not guarantee that any student will pass a G2, G, or any other road test.
- Road test results depend on student skill, judgment, consistency, traffic, weather, nerves, examiner assessment, test-day behaviour, route, and other factors outside Parkway’s control.
- Testimonials and reviews describe individual experiences and do not guarantee future results.
- Readiness advice is based on instructor judgment and available information, but the final road test decision belongs to DriveTest/examiner processes.
11. Liability and Assumption of Risk
- Driving instruction involves inherent risk, including traffic, weather, road conditions, other road users, student error, and unexpected situations.
- Students agree to participate responsibly, follow traffic laws, and follow instructor directions.
- Students remain responsible for their own conduct, licensing status, documents, test eligibility, and lawful driving behaviour.
- To the maximum extent allowed by Ontario law, Parkway is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
- If any section of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections continue to apply as far as legally possible.
12. Privacy and Communication
- Parkway collects personal information needed for inquiries, bookings, payments, scheduling, BDE administration, road test support, safety coordination, and communication.
- Students and parents/guardians consent to communication by phone, text, WhatsApp, email, and form responses related to inquiries, bookings, lessons, BDE, payments, and service coordination.
- Parkway does not sell student personal information.
- Personal information may be shared where needed for service delivery, payment processing, BDE administration, technical tools, legal compliance, safety, insurance, or recordkeeping.
- For full details, read the Privacy Policy.
13. Website, Pricing, and Policy Updates
- Parkway may update website content, packages, prices, policies, terms, service areas, lesson availability, and package inclusions at any time.
- If there is a conflict between a website page, message, invoice, checkout page, or direct written confirmation, Parkway may clarify which terms apply to the specific booking.
- Prices or terms shown on older ads, screenshots, marketplace posts, outdated pages, or third-party listings may no longer apply.
- Continued use of the website or services after updates means you accept the updated terms where legally permitted.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable Canadian law. Any dispute will be handled under applicable Ontario and Canadian legal processes.
